AN ALIEN hunter believes he has spotted a ‘major UFO’ on footage recorded by an infra-red camera on board a police helicopter.
Gary Heseltine, editor of UFO Truth magazine, said the startling footage was recorded in the skies above south Wales last September.
It shows a circular object levitating in the air and appearing to spin as the helicopter camera zooms in and out to try and make sense of it.
Gary has also criticised South Wales Police for not being more open with him after he submitted multiple Freedom of Information requests in a bid to find out what they know about the peculiar incident.
He said: “I’ve waited until now to see how much information I could obtain from the police via the FOI requests I’ve submitted.
“What I can say is that, in my opinion, the police have not been as open and transparent as they could have been.
Gary, who runs annual UFO conferences which attract people from across the country, says he has requested logs from the force in relation to the helicopter that captured the UFO footage
The kind of information he’s hoping to get includes flight maps and audio from the cockpit.

He claims the incident bears a similar resemblance to another case in Chile where one of the country’s naval helicopters captured a UFO on infra-red camera.
Gary added: “I believe this British case is a major UFO event and should be the subject of a scientific enquiry.”
