Clouds return to Saturn's moon Titan in ethereal NASA image

We need a celestial Sherlock Holmes on the Case of the Missing Clouds. Saturn's massive moon Titan lost its northern cloud cover from around 2010 to 2014. NASA's Cassini spacecraft has been keeping an eye out for fresh cloud activity on Titan. NASA released an image Tuesday showing wispy clouds hovering over the moon's hydrocarbon lakes.

According to NASA, "Cassini scientists noted a decrease in clouds everywhere on Titan after a large storm in 2010, and expected clouds to return sooner, based on computer models of Titan's atmosphere." NASA previously posted a video showing the thin methane clouds in motion.

Cassini snapped the image in late October 2016. Scientists had expected more clouds by now and are looking at possible connections between the moon's cloud formations and the changing seasons as Titan moves through its version of summer.

Titan is a fascinating place. It's also home to a mysterious vanishing and reappearing island and very still methane lakes. Saturn has dozens of moons, but Titan is the largest and has been one of the most fascinating subjects of the Cassini mission.

Cassini is due to end its journey by plunging into Saturn's atmosphere later this year, but it should still have time to peek at Titan and its clouds again before burning up during its mission finale.

UFO News 2017: Mysterious Object Spotted In Manchester, England

A UFO was seen in Manchester, England in 2012. However, the sighting, a balloon-like object, was only recently reported.

UFO News 2017: Manchester Sighting

Although the object in the picture resembles a balloon, it does not have advertisements, stickers or strings. Moreover, it isn't a one-piece regular-looking unidentified flying object. It is an unique-looking one. According to UFO Sightings Daily, the object has a semi-transparent appearance that helps it blend into any environment.

However, alien devices of this sort normally lose the blending capacity as they come closer to the ground. The surface reportedly becomes incapable of adjusting to surrounding colors. This flaw makes it easier for anybody to see the object.

An eyewitness reported seeing a ball of multi-colored lights hovering nearly 30 to 50 feet above him. He asked his brother to stop the car they were driving in. Then he brought out his cell phone to take the photo. However, the eyewitness said that the ball disappeared, which made both of them shocked.

While checking the photo on his phone, the witness noticed that he shot the object quite clearly. "I cannot explain what I had seen and when I show people they can't understand it," he said, as quoted by the website.

"The object can be described more detailed by saying it was a hollow ball made up of round downturned discs with vivid colours on the outside. I could see through into the hollow."

UFO News 2017: Other Recent Sightings

In other news, a Canadian reported that he did not believe in aliens. Chad Haines was quite the skeptic, until he saw an unidentified flying object. Haines was browsing through the photos he took in Random Island in Newfoundland, Canada.

While doing that, he noticed that he had captured images of a unidentified flying object. It seemed like the object was hovering in the moon. "It was out there for two or three hours," Haines told TC Media, according to Canadian publication The Packet.

Mystery discovery: 'Alien coffins' found near ancient pyramids

"The precision is very 21st century, or at least 20th century"

Brian Foerster

The 25 granite boxes were found just 12 miles south from the Great Pyramid of Giza in the ancient necropolis of Saqqara near Memphis in Lower Egypt.

UFO hunters believe the high precision of engineering of each of the black stone boxes is remarkable, even by 21st century standards.

UFO and alien theorist Brien Foerster said: "The precision is very 21st century, or at least 20th century."

ALIEN: The black stone boxes feature extremely high precision engineering

He argues that the precision of construction of the surfaces of stone boxes, which are 100-tonnes with 30-tonne lids, and the angles are "within a few ten thousandths of an inch".

It is not known how the ancient Egyptians had the technology to make the skilfully cut stone boxes - leading UFO researchers to suggest they were designed and constructed by aliens that visited the country.

But some say that it should not surprise anyone that the ancient Egyptian engineers were capable of such remarkable engineering feat.

SACRED: It is believed the boxes may have been built for sacred Apis bulls

This comes as a bizarre UFO-shaped rock was discovered - sparking fears of an ancient alien civilisation.

A UFO was spotted in the skies above Devon and "human-like creature" was seen on Mars.

Daily Star Online also revealed the nine top UFO sightings of 2016 in a shocking round up.

150 years of UFO sightings

Friday, 1st July 2016

The tomb, the Serapeum of Saqqara, is believed to have been built around 1300 BCE by Rameses II.

It is believed to be the burial place of the sacred Apis bulls - a religious cult.

The bulls were worshipped as the incarnation of the god Ptah and were believed to live forever as gods after death.

Attempting to explain the purpose of the boxes, some Egyptologists suggested that they were intended to hold the mummified remains of the sacred bulls.

But none of the boxes contained mummified remains of the sacred Apis bulls.

UFO believers insist they must have been constructed to hold the mummified remains of giant humanoid aliens who never used them, possibly because they left Earth before they died.

Are aliens real? UFO rock baffles experts sparking fear of ancient ET civilisation

The unique three-tiered structure, which is 5ft 2in high, has led local residents to questioned whether the stunning rock could come from outer space.

Held up by strange cylindrical pillars with two disk-shaped layers, the strange stone looks like something out of a sci-fi film.

But what has caused so much excitement is experts are struggling to explain whether the structure is natural, man-made or designed by human-like creatures.

DISCOVERY: Xia Changjun said the bizarre structure caught his eye

BASE: A local historian believes it could have been used in ancient rituals

It was discovered by Xia Changjun who said he noticed the stunning shape on a mountainside near Baokang, in central Hubei Province, in China.

This news comes after Chinese villagers were left dumbstruck when a "UFO" appeared to fall from sky and then left behind a burning crater in ground.

Wang Qingxiang, a local historian, commenting on the recent discovery said he was most baffled by its tiered shape and columns.

MYSTERY: At another site a UFO appeared to from the sky and left a burning crater

He suggested the rock, which he identified as basalt stone, could have been used in ancient rituals or as some sort of signalling device during battles.

A number have UFO sightings have been made in China this year - including a strange floating object that brought traffic to a standstill as driver leapt out of their cars to look up in awe.

Clarenville man spots UFO over Random Island, Montreal, Canada

Location of sighting: Clarenville, Canada

Aliens like seclusion, isolation from humanity if at all possible. This UFO sighting took place at an island with a small population. UFOs over the water are very common. This UFO is a beautiful classic disk design.

Even Christopher Columbus, it appears, saw a UFO. While patrolling the deck of the Santa Maria at about 10:00 PM on October 11, 1492, Columbus thought he saw "a light glimmering at a great distance." He hurriedly summoned Pedro Gutierrez, "a gentleman of the king's bedchamber," who also saw the light. After a short time it vanished, only to reappear several times during the night, each time dancing up and down "in sudden and passig gleams." The light, first seen four hours before land was sighted, was never explained."
Scott C. Waring News states:
CLARENVILLE, NL - Chad Haines says he's the last person who might believe in aliens, extraterrestrials or UFOs.

But after witnessing an unidentified flying craft near his house early in 2016, he can't explain what else it could've been.

While deleting some images off his camera this past week to make space in preparation for Christmas morning, Haines stumbled upon some photos he took the night of Feb. 23, 2016, from his Bayview Road home.

Reviewing the photos once more, he still couldn't find a rational explanation for what he saw in the sky.

From the street, looking across the water toward Random Island, Haines saw a hovering object near the moon.

"It was out there for two or three hours," Haines told TC Media today.

He says, after staying in the same spot, the object moved up and down and shot off out of sight quickly.

Haines was able to capture some photos on his camera of the unidentified flying object appearing over the water.

There were no stars in the sky that night, he says.

He says it wasn't a plane and it was far too big to be a drone.

Like others, Haines has seen videos and reports of strange sounds, beams of light and other phenomena, but says anything could have made those effects. But now, after witnessing and capturing an image himself, he's unsure about the existence of the unexplained.

"I couldn't believe it," he said of his experience.
This isn't the first time people have reported UFOs over Random Island.

In October, 1978, RCMP Const. Jim Blackwood was one of dozens of locals who spotted what they believed to be a UFO hovering over Random Island.

UFO News: Possible Fireball UFOs Terrorize North Carolina Witness

Today's UFO news focuses on a frightening case in Fuquay Varina, North Carolina, where a witness reports lights appearing daily around his or her house, according to the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) report. The witness, an avid deer watcher, noticed a light in his yard one morning as the sun was rising. The witness did not pay much attention to the UFO, because the witness believed that it could have been a trick of the morning light. Later that evening, the witness reports that the UFO was back, and many more with it.

Among the more fascinating aspects of the UFO report was that the witness states that "balls of light" will explode in the air, making no noise and looking similar to an old-fashioned camera flash bulb. This specifically matches multiple reports from witnesses to nearly identical situations, some in recent news, that have reported to the National UFO Reporting Center, NUFORC. In each of these UFO cases, brilliant light from what seems to be an explosion startle the witnesses, but there is no noise. To be clear, some witnesses do report sonic booms and loud noises, but other witnesses to the fireball UFO sightings report silence.

Another aspect of this UFO news is that the witness reports this is an ongoing occurrence for two weeks, with only a few days that the fireball type UFO craft did not appear. The witness states that they normally appear between 10 and 11 P.M. each night, and finally leave at sunrise. What happens during the night could unnerve the most seasoned paranormal investigator or UFO researcher. The news turns grim when the witness explains what happened at night around his home.

a large warm light that's round in shape moves up and down my yard. there's no beam to follow to find where the light is coming from. it moves in a pattern as if it's scanning my property. it moves from the side of the house to the back and all the way around my house. i see bright flashes of light. balls of light in mid air that burst out making a flash similar to an old fashioned camera flash. there's never any sound with this. i also see small red orbs of light like an led light in random places in my yard. they fade in and out. if i turn all my outdoor lights on to try and drown out the moving ball of light scanning my yard, i see shadows moving everywhere. tonight i actually watched a large orange ball come from the sky and disappear in the tree line. right after this happened is when all the lights and shadows started tonight.

How anyone could, or would, endure that type of UFO sighting each night for two weeks would certainly be a mystery to many people. To have lights moving around one's home at all hours of the night would seem among one of the most frightening things a person could endure, and definitely news that need to be reported. The witness also notes that he is sane and does not use drugs or alcohol. The UFO news frequently includes stories so far-fetched that they do seem like the fanciful wanderings of someone who is not well.

One could easily see where a person making this kind of UFO report in the news would feel the need to plead for their sanity. This type of UFO report is extreme by any standard of measure. But are these really the fireball UFO type craft, or is this something else?

This UFO report could well represent a fireball UFO sighting. It is equally possible, with no images with which to work, to speculate that this could also be any one of a number of paranormal options. It could even be a psychic projection of energy, or ghosts, if one believes in that phenomenon, given how the details seem to match up with that type of investigation. Whatever the case, this witness is reporting a phenomenon that could be UFO news, or something else altogether. It will require a follow up by experienced professionals to clarify the facts. Until then, if one assumes these are UFO sightings, they should be looked into to see if they could fit the parameters of a fireball type UFO.

Rare comet set to be visible from Earth for first time

A rare comet is set to be visible from Earth for the first time in what could be millions of years, Nasa has announced.

The comet, named C/2016 U1 NEOWISE, will be close enough to Earth between now and 14 January to potentially be seen in the night sky with binoculars or even the naked eye.

C/2016 U1 was first detected by Nasa in October and is currently heading past Earth on its way towards the sun, where it will pass through the orbit of Mercury before heading back to the outer Solar System.

Paul Chodas, manager of Nasa’s Centre for Near-Earth Object (NEO) Studies, said: "[C/2016 U1] has a good chance of becoming visible through a good pair of binoculars, although we can't be sure because a comet's brightness is notoriously unpredictable."

The best chance of seeing the comet is to look in the south-eastern sky just before dawn. The comet will be seen further south every day until it disappears from sight sometime in mid-January.

C/2016 U1 has an orbit that could take millions of years, meaning this could be the first and last time it gets so close to Earth. Comets typically only have a lifespan of one or two million years.

But while it is likely to be comparatively near to us, the comet is still many millions of miles away and poses no threat to the planet.

WF9 is believed to be tenth comet discovered by Nasa’s Neowise mission since it was re-started in 2013. The researchers have also discovered 99 new asteroids.

Scientists are not entirely sure whether to class C/2016 U1 as a comet or an asteroid, but believe it is more likely to be a comet.

Nasa has discovered two potential comets in recent weeks. As well as C/2016 U1, it announced the discovery of an object it is calling 2016 WF9. This appears to be something between a comet and an asteroid but scientists have not been able to establish which category it falls into. Typically asteroids are made of rock and metals whereas comets also consist of ice.

As comets and asteroids go, WF9 is big – up to one kilometre across. It is also very dark, reflecting only a tiny proportion of the light that fall on it. Scientists compared the comet’s surface to charcoal or tarmac in how little light it reflects.
